Derek celebrated his first Father's Day today and it was a fun day. For starters, Dominic and I had great fun buying Derek a fancy espresso machine from Starbucks that he's been eyeing forever and he loved it! Secondly, our very good friends Ben and Wendy were out visiting from Boston and we were able to continue hanging out with them today. (see picture of Aunt Wendy and Dominic below).While I haven't been able to capture a good photo of it, Dominic has started smiling, even almost laughing sometimes, at us. This has, I confess, driven Derek and I to new heights of ridiculousness, trying to coax smiles out of him.
