We really took advantage of Derek being off of work this week to get out of the house and do fun stuff together as a family. In addition to our beach picnic, we also headed out to enjoy lunch under the Redwoods and to introduce our son to one of our favorite places. He woke up just about long enough to eat and then went right back to sleep. That's OK, though, there is plenty of time for him to appreciate it later....And, to end the wonderful week, we got to celebrate our very first Mother's Day together over at Tutu and Grandpa's house. Once again, Dominic slept through most of it but as you can see from the picture, we all had a good time staring at him and just enjoying having three generations under one roof.
