Snuggling

I went back to work last week--which was both a welcome change and a tad unnerving. In truth, I enjoyed being back and using my brain (a bit) but there was definitely a little extra snuggling going on to try to make up for the time that we were apart...


As I said in the previous post, Dominic is one smiley baby and we were happy to see his smiles continue as he got used to his new schedule. It was so great to have his Tutu come and stay with him on Friday, he loves all of the one on one attention that he gets from her and she takes such good care of him...



So...getting through the first week back was one challenge--surviving on my own next week while Derek is traveling to Ohio will be another. Somehow, I suspect we will muddle through but upon hearing that his dad was gonna be gone for a whole week, Dominic insisted on extra hugs and snuggles from his Dad.



The last photo is one of Dominic hanging out in his chair that Kirby's friend Rae upholstered for him in fantastic Hawaiian print. He looks like such a big kid here!
